Internet technology changes our life style broadly and has brought the whole world near at hand. In Bangladesh Internet technology had set up 11 November in 1993.Here the users of internet are increasing day by day. Before February its number was about 4lac but last few years its number has been 10lac. But it is mainly limited in urban area. All classes’ people of Bangladesh should know about the use of computer and internet. In town people can get the facilities to use internet at home or in cyber café. But in village there is no chance to use computers. Even there is no land line telephone and lack of electricity and many problems. By dint of ICT the poor Bangladeshi villagers can be able to get the effective result by using cell phone to make communication with their kith and kin in abroad. Ambia’s centre is situated at Charkhai in northern side of Bangladesh. Muhammad Ambia is taking internet facilities by cable plugged from his cell phone. He has started business on it and villagers can be able to contact with relatives at low cost who live in abroad. How imagined it is that technology is taking us in a new world. Now through cell phone, we can easily use the internet technology and its speed is so high to search news, make communication through computer at low cost and other facilities. The internet centers are being set up by Grameen Bank, and Dr. Muhammad Yunus is its founder. It is a good movement for the people of Bangladesh and especially the villagers. The village people can browse on line employment bulletins and can apply for their applications to get jobs, can make a consultation with doctors about their problems and to take other basic services. For students it will be able to open a news world. Cell phone and computer are the part of ICT, and the village people and also the town people can get the big chance to know about computer and keep pace with other countries as well as technologies through cell phone internet connection.

The name of Dr. Yunus is more famous for Bangladesh. Everybody has heard the name. He is a person, who has been awarded noble price in peace on 13 October, 2006. The whole Bangladesh is proud for him. Noble laureate professor Muhammad Yunus has teamed up with some of the world’s largest telecom farms to leverage communications technology to help alleviate poverty. He opened a bank of Grameen bank which gives loans to the villagers. The purpose of this bank is to remove the poverty of the rural poor people. Professor Yunus is an economist. The condition of most of the people of this country hurts him. So he tries to find out the way of removing poverty. He introduces micro-credit system among a limited member of people and he becomes successful in his plan. Then he sets up a bank and thousands of people have been able to see better days in their poor economic condition and has a positive effect on socio-economic variables including children’s , children nutrition and family planning. I.T.U is backing the scheme, which will see villages linked to the net and other international networks via telecaster.

Dr. Yunus proved that one small thing can make a biggest thing. So we should always try to do something from smaller to bigger. Then Bangladesh will be successful.
