I am Rizia Begum and I am about 30 years old. I came to the Nari Jibon office to see the sign board. After visiting the Nari Jibon office I was interested to learn tailoring course. I have a sewing machine at my house as I can make some dress which is not sufficient for running business. But as I could not to read or write Bengali or mathematics I had to start to take Bengali classes. My future plan is, after completing tailoring course I’ll start to run tailoring business and I want to earn money. I want to help my husband financially. My husband is a Rickshaw puller. We have two daughters and one son.

My name is Sabina and I am about 12 years. I have another one sister and one brother. I am the eldest child of our family. My father is a rickshaw puller. Our family is not solvent. I have come to the Nari Jibon office with my mother. I am a student of govt. primary school. I am reading in class-3. I am reading at Nari Jibon office only English and mathematics as I am weak in these subjects. As I am a student of a poor family I can not read to any private tutor. So, Nari Jibon office is helping me to teach about subjects which I am weak. I am also interested to take tailoring course from this organization. Because my future plan is, after completing tailoring course I want to help my mother’s tailoring business beside my study.

My name is Momotaj and I am about 32 years old. I am illiterate and I am married. My husband is small trader who deals in vegetables at Malibagh kitchen market. I heard about Nari Jibon office from an old student of Nari Jibon named Rina. After visiting Nari Jibon office I was interested to take Bengali and tailoring courses. I knew about tailoring but that was not sufficient to run tailoring business. As my husband was not solvent I was working as a house maid to the several houses. Hearing my problem Nari Jibon office gave me an opportunity to learn Bengali and tailoring course. Now I am learning Bengali besides working as office staff in the Nari Jibon office. After completing Bengali course I’ll complete tailoring course well. My future plan is, after completing tailoring course I shall work tailoring in any business centre or I shall start tailoring business in future. I have son, aged 13. Now he is reading in a govt. primary school in class-3.

 My name is Mafia. I have lost my father in my childhood. We are four sisters and three brothers. My mother looked after us in very difficulties. I could not go to school due to extreme poverty of my family. Almost all of my brothers and sisters had to work in the garment factory from our childhood. I also worked in the garment factory from my childhood. But as I was illiterate I did not get promotion ever. I had to work as a helper from long years. My elder sister who got married and she was student of Nari Jibon informed me and advised me to take admission at Nari Jibon office to take skills. After visiting the office I was very interested to learn Bengali and Tailoring but I was unable to learn because I was working in a garment factory. At the beginning time I used to come during lunch period and off day at Nari Jibon to learn Bengali. Observing problem Nari Jibon gave me a great opportunity to take skill from their organization. I used to receive some money instead of taking course Bengali and English. Now I can read and write in Bengali. I can read and write what I think. I want to take an official job. I have also completed tailoring courses successfully if I become fail to take job in any office I shall start to run home based tailoring business. After completing tailoring and Bengali course successfully Nari Jibon I received a new sewing machine and some money to run business. At the end of taking course from Nari jibon I have got married and now I am living with my husband and running home based tailoring business. I am happy and thankful to Nari Jibon.
