I am Monowara and I am 19 years old. I am working in a hospital named Al-Barakah as a nurse. Still now I am unmarried. I wanted to learn tailoring from a long days. Few days ago I have come to Nari Jibon office and I have started to learn tailoring. Al ready I have learned 17 items to tailoring. After completing my tailoring course I’ll buy a sewing machine and I’ll work my personal and neighboring peoples tailoring related works sitting at my house. After saving some money I’ll run tailoring business besides my job.

I am married and my husband motivated me to take tailoring course hearing details about Nari Jibon organization. Already I have learned 30 items of tailoring from Nari Jibon’s tailoring section. My husband told me that he could run tailoring business in future and that’s why I have completed tailoring course from Nari Jibon organization. After completing tailoring course I am now taking English course from Nari Jibon office. It will help me to run our business in future

My name is Salma and I am 18 years old. I came to Nari Jibon office hearing from field workers of Nari Jibon office. After visiting Nari Jibon office I was interested to learn tailoring course. Then I took admission to learn tailoring course and I have completed tailoring courses successfully.  My husband often became sick. He sells vegetables in the roadside.  My future plan is, after saving some money I’ll buy a sewing machine and then I’ll start to work tailoring. I want to earn money working tailoring and I want to help my husband financially to maintain my family.

My name is Kohinoor Akter and I am about 30 years old. I heard about Nari Jibon office from one of my friends who worked at Nari Jibon office. I was living in Dhaka working as a street based sex worker. So, it was not possible to me to taking skill instead of earning money. Hearing in details of my life Nari Jibon gave me a great opportunity to take skill. Nari Jibon used to give me some money to survive my life instead of taking skill from Nari Jibon office. I took admission in Nari Jibon office dated 17^th December 2005 to learn Bengali and English. I was ignored about Bengali language to read and write and tailoring before receiving training from Nari Jibon. I completed Bengali courses successfully and now I can read and write easily. I have also completed tailoring course learning 31 items of dresses. I was helpless to take training from any where as I was poor and I had no income source. After completing tailoring course successfully Nari Jibon office provides me a new sewing machine and some money to run tailoring business. It is also happy news that while I was reading at Nari Jibon office I got married with young man. Now I am running home based tailoring business and in future I’ll rent a tailoring shop to anywhere in Dhaka. Beside this, I’ll continue to come to the office for more studying of Bengali and English subjects.

My name is Mafia. I have lost my father in my childhood. We are four sisters and three brothers. My mother looked after us in very difficulties. I could not go to school due to extreme poverty of my family. Almost all of my brothers and sisters had to work in the garment factory from our childhood. I also worked in the garment factory from my childhood. But as I was illiterate I did not get promotion ever. I had to work as a helper from long years. My elder sister who got married and she was student of Nari Jibon informed me and advised me to take admission at Nari Jibon office to take skills. After visiting the office I was very interested to learn Bengali and Tailoring but I was unable to learn because I was working in a garment factory. At the beginning time I used to come during lunch period and off day at Nari Jibon to learn Bengali. Observing problem Nari Jibon gave me a great opportunity to take skill from their organization. I used to receive some money instead of taking course Bengali and English. Now I can read and write in Bengali. I can read and write what I think. I want to take an official job. I have also completed tailoring courses successfully if I become fail to take job in any office I shall start to run home based tailoring business. After completing tailoring and Bengali course successfully Nari Jibon I received a new sewing machine and some money to run business. At the end of taking course from Nari jibon I have got married and now I am living with my husband and running home based tailoring business. I am happy and thankful to Nari Jibon.

I heard about Nari Jibon from the field workers of Nari Jibon office.  Being very much interested at the beginning time I admitted in the Nari Jibon office as a student of tailoring section. But I was unable to learn tailoring skill from Nari Jibon office due to extreme poverty of my family. Then Nari Jibon gave me a great opportunity to learn tailoring course. I used to receive some money beside my learning tailoring course every month. I completed my tailoring course from Nari Jibon office successfully. I have learned 33 items of tailoring from Nari Jibon office. I was searching a job to any tailoring shop. But after completing tailoring and Bengali courses Nari Jibon gave me a sewing machine. Now I am running home based tailoring business. It is mentioned that I got married while was learning at Nari Jibon. Now I am happy with my husband and running home based tailoring business.
