Inaugural Ceremony of CityIT Fair - 2007

The annual CityIT fair has been arranged at the BCS Computer City, Agargaon, Dhaka. The fair will continue form 5-13 April. The inaugural ceremony was opened by the advisor of caretaker government, Tapon Chowdhury. Mahfujur Rahman, the charman of ATN Bangla, Whaid-uz-Zaman, and the secretary of ICT ministry were also present in that ceremony.

Various kinds or events and quizzes are arranged everyday in the fair for the audience. The technology consultant will converse about ICT and customer care, the entertainment in media, Submarine Cable and Bangladesh, SME, Our village & ICT and the computer is for your ability. 

The award will also be given to the journalists, Actor & actress and the writers. IT & village fair is also arranged in the 3rd floor of BCS Computer city. Another event is the art competition for children. 

The special award was given to M.N Iaslam, the chairman of Flora Limited and Abdullah H Kafi, the president of ASOCIO, MD of JAN Associates for their outmost activities in ICT sector. 

Liteon, Lexmark, Gigabyte and Asus are the sponsors of this fair and the media partners are ATN Bangla and Radia Today FM 89.6. The entry fee of the fair is 10 Tk. But students are allowed to the fair for free. The fair is open from 9am to 6pm everyday
